However I can distinctly remember the first time I looked at Warrick and thought wow. It was a cold night and we were working a scene in the desert. I said something and he turned to look at me and smiled. It was like seeing him for the first time. Of course he married not that long after that.

I just realized how close actually being a parent Warrick and I might be. Of course that led to the many concerns most people probably have when that hits plus a few more. Hank is taking it all in stride though he could take anything in stride if you happen to have a treat close by.

Of course I'm also concerned about Nick, I know what I'd be like if anything ever happened to Rick and it wouldn't be a pretty picture.
I had a very productive day today. I read several forensic magazines and spent some time playing with Hank. He's a very energetic dog and we don't get much play but he's also content to watch television with me. He's a very good listener but I don't think dogs really look bored even when they are. We set some boundaries early on and he learned quickly that the things in the cages and tanks would jump at him if he got too close. All things consider we make a good pair.
